Mind reading is practised throughout the world and for decades, it's
been a form of entertainment for many illusionists and magicians. Many of the
successful mind readers use body language to guess - often with high rates of
success - what people are thinking. So how does the test you've just taken work?
This test is available around the net, and took us a while to figure out. Like
many 'magic' tricks, there's an easy explanation, so read on if you're ready...
The first page shows you a set of cards, and asks you to select a card. You
then clicked a button, and the test showed you a set of cards, claiming that
the card you chose had been removed from the set. But look carefully: if you
try the test again to see if it works for a second time with another card, you'll
find it does. For each of the cards. Why? Because all the cards have been removed
when you click to view the second set. They've been replaced with a set of cards
- none of which appeared on the first page. However, many people claim to have
genuine extra-sensory perception, the ability to read minds or uncover treasure,
with no rational explanation being given. Click
